The project
The corporate market team at Eika handles both simple and complex credit cases. The existing work processes had grown over time, with a lot of information, several manual steps and little flexibility. The goal of the project was to modernise the solution and make it easier for advisers to handle cases efficiently and in a structured way.
What we made
We built a new workflow for simple cases that removed a step from the credit process by combining case handling and reporting in one solution. For complex cases we made the workflow more flexible and improved how information is structured and presented. We also redesigned the PDF report to make it easier to read.
How we worked
The project began by understanding how advisers actually worked. Through workshops, interviews and close collaboration with product owners, developers and domain experts, we mapped the current workflow and found where the complexity came from. The insight became the basis for new concepts, developed through sketches, prototypes and continuous iteration.
Design choices
One of the most important design decisions was to challenge the established credit process, not just improve the interface. Instead of using the credit portal purely as a reporting tool, we built a solution that supports advisers through the whole case and makes their working day more efficient.
